Team IMPACT had the privilege of attending and participating in Children’s Hospital Association's 19th annual Family Advocacy Day. The event brings patient advocates and their families to Washington D.C. to meet with Congress and share how their lives have been significantly impacted by the advanced and specialized care provided by children’s hospitals. Team IMPACT CEO Joe Daniels, fellows, and regional staff members all came together with CHA to support our joint mission of creating positive change in the lives of all children facing serious and chronic illness. For the third consecutive year, Team IMPACT collaborated with the Philadelphia-based Vincera Foundation at the Vincera Children’s Classic golf tournament! More than 150 golfers, Team IMPACT program participants, and supporters—including Philadelphia’s favorite Eagle, Jason Kelce—gathered to golf, eat, drink, and hear how the Vincera Foundation continues to support Team IMPACT’s life-changing work across the city of Philadelphia and beyond. 📝: https://bit.ly/3WChx5k #AllInAllTogether

Last night we had the honor of being surrounded by over one thousand Team IMPACT supporters to hear from just a few of our incredible matches. As Katy, mom to Emma, reminded all of us, “True MVPs are not just defined by their athletic prowess, but by their capacity for compassion, empathy, and inclusion.”   Thank you to everyone who attended, and all those who contribute to our mission.
