Chances are if you have driven on I-70 near Vail Pass, you have seen one of our most scenic job sites! Excellent progress is being made on the Rest Area Reconstruction project we are building for the Colorado Department of Transportation. Once construction is finished in November 2024, there will be a new facility with increased restroom capacity, increased parking & improved traffic circulation, and increased capacity for maintenance & snow equipment storage on-site. There will also be a series of displays & exhibits paying homage to the area's history & culture for visitors to enjoy, as well as a reconfigured bike path to provide safer access for cyclists. #colorfulcolorado #construction

Another progress update, this time for Hilltop Senior Living in Boulder for Boulder Housing Partners! We are honored to be the GC on this project to bring much needed affordable housing to seniors in the community. Happy Summer everyone!! Check out these incredible photos from Boulder Housing Partners soon-to-be completed Hilltop Senior Living, a brand-new apartment community individuals aged 62+. These residences are reserved for seniors with household incomes ranging from 30 to 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI) and we are honored to provide 15 units of permanent supportive housing within the community. Hilltop Senior Living offers an array of amenities and activities designed to promote well-being and community building. Residents can enjoy shared roof decks and terraces boasting panoramic views, elevator access for convenience and accessibility, in-home washers/dryers, air conditioning, and complimentary Community Wi-Fi. Secure bike parking, storage units, and a free Neighborhood EcoPass for the first three years of residency are also included. Great progress being made at the renovations of Montview Manor in Denver -- Thank you, Alfredo Ramos Jr., for your partnership on this project for Archway Communities!
We are excited to once again partner with Taylor Kohrs and there client Archway Communities. The building is called Montview Manor and is located across the street from the Denver Zoo just East of Downtown. This mid-rise building was in need of improvements that included the installation of a new roof covering. It has a fairly small footprint; however, the project has proven to be a challenge based on the buildings existing roof top equipment, threshold limitations and 15-17 story building height to name a few. The building will receive a 20 year NDL warranty with an increased 80 mph wind speed acknowledged. The assembly will include a vapor barrier, above deck insulation, a full taper system, a 1/2” cover board and a fullyadhered Versico 60 white TPO. The best part about the job for me has been working with and in close proximity to the many residents that call the facility home. The many young at heart residents are optimistic, cheerful and welcoming of the facilities many improvements. This week’s #50for50 story features Ash Street Apartments, an affordable rental housing development in Denver. CHFA was proud to support Ash Street Apartments by awarding $900,018 in state Affordable Housing Tax Credits and $708,414 in federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Cecilia, a resident of the 112-unit property, says, “I love that we have parking and it’s built well...you can walk a “360” around our building and access everything nearby.
