Thriving in New Markets: My Experience at the Israel Mobile Summit 2024 Earlier this month, I had the exciting opportunity to participate in a panel discussion at the Israel Mobile Summit on "Strange New Markets" While Tango has already achieved top-grossing app status in some non-mainstream markets like India, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia, we're constantly looking to expand our user base globally. Growing Tango in New Territories: During the panel, I shared our successful growth strategy, which we had implemented since joining Tango nearly two years ago. Here are some key takeaways: 1. Local Payment Solutions: In the creator economy, fast and accessible local payment options are crucial. Creators who experience a smooth financial experience are more likely to stay engaged with the platform. 2. 360° User Acquisition: We leverage a powerful combination of global user acquisition channels, local influencers, and, most importantly, offline media. While tailoring brand messaging for each market can be challenging, this localized 360° approach proves highly effective. 3. Connecting Creators and Viewers: Tango's global platform boasts millions of users. We prioritize connecting creators with the most relevant audiences. For instance, we've discovered a surprisingly strong connection between content creators in Nigeria and viewers in the US. The Israel Mobile Summit provided a valuable platform for connecting with industry leaders and discussing best practices for conquering new markets.
