My father-in-law passed of ALS. Last night Steve Gleason was honored with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the 2024 ESPY Awards. I know the fight Steve is going through. My heart also went out to his son who helped accept the award on his behalf. Team Gleason, through its diverse and broad-reaching programming, brings assistive technology, equipment, and robust support services into the hands of ALS patients – with a goal of helping individuals with ALS not just survive but thrive after a devastating diagnosis. https://teamgleason.org/

Both of my properties are near the woods. Although I also enjoy the beach. But this is good information about connecting mental health with nature and away from information overload.

You get one chance at life. In this case, Jeff got 2. Jeff is my husband's uncle. I remember we were at a TalentHunter dinner in Leesburg, VA when Jeff's wife called telling us what had just transpired. Jeff and my husband now own a beautiful, upgraded cabin in Luray, VA. It was both of their dreams to continue to find their "dream hunting/fishing cabin". Never stop dreaming and growing, you never know what tomorrow will bring.
