Who saw Eminem's new music video for Houdini today? It features MetaHumans and the use of Unreal Engine 5. This is very exciting to see! I'm a big fan of Eminem, always have been but I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this video, specifically on how these scenes in particular made you feel. Did they look good or bad? Did they add anything to the value of the music video? These tools don’t get very much mainstream exposure (IMO), so there isn’t much data on how it’s perceived by the average viewer. So... Yesterday Eminem’s new video for the track Houdini dropped and all hell broke loose! The clip has already amassed 20 million views and the internet is abuzz with excitement for the return of old school Slim Shady in this completely unhinged and visually dazzling video. Directed by Synapse's CCO Rich Lee, produced by CEO Justin Diener and lensed by CINO Christopher Probst, ASC the video was shot almost entirely with virtual production on our flagship LED stage at Los Angeles Center Studios. Synapse pulled out all the stops for this project, producing the project, as well as handling the creation of all of the VAD environments, providing a significant chunk of the visual effects work (in collaboration with Flawless Post and Metaphysic.ai) and blazed some uncharted territory with linking Epic Games' Unreal Engine Metahumans to facial/motion capture technology to drive some of the digital characters featured in the video (that's you, creepy ass demon-baby!). #guesswhosback #eminem #sllimshady #virtualproduction #unrealengine https://lnkd.in/gZunTxPu

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting "AI on the Lot" at our Flagship LA Studio.
