Today Sunnie launched into 200 Target stores in Southern CA, UT, AZ and NV! Our team is over the moon about the opportunity to bring better, cleaner options to the fresh snack category in one of our favorite retailers. You'll find Sunnie in grab + go coolers in the front of store set or in the deli set (some stores we see it in both!). Excited to share about our packaging update that is hitting retail shelves next month! This is something we've been laser focused on this past quarter as we get ready to launch in a major retailer (...can't share who quite yet 😉). There are a few reasons why this change is important to us and the business as we scale up. First, we've shrunk the size of our package and reduced plastic usage by 30%, while still maintaining the same ounces of food inside each pack...think more compact, but higher perceived value to customers. Next, we've invested in new manufacturing equipment that will extend the shelf life of all products without adding any preservatives, fillers or other junk (this is a key brand pillar for us). This shelf life change will support our distribution and expansion plans significantly, giving us greater runway to go nationwide.
