Congrats to Jeffrey Hill. We are proud to have him at Strauss Troy!
In May, I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. After reflecting on my time there, I want to share three key lessons I learned that I will take with me into my future career: 1. The Value of Assisting Others: Dedicating time to help those in need is always worthwhile. Offering support to peers and contributing to a collaborative environment is immensely fulfilling. It not only fosters a stronger community but also enhances one's own understanding and empathy. 2. The Power of Perseverance: Significant breakthroughs in thinking often occur after investing additional time and effort. Some of my most profound insights have emerged from dedicating an extra hour to problem-solving. This experience has underscored the importance of patience and persistence. 3. The Importance of Mentorship: Finding a mentor has been an invaluable aspect of my journey. The guidance, wisdom, and encouragement provided by seasoned professionals have been instrumental in navigating the complexities and challenges of law school and beyond. As I embark on the next chapter of my career, I am eager to apply these lessons and continue my journey of continuous learning and growth. This is a picture of my son and me at UC’s hooding ceremony. #LawSchool #LessonsLearned #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerDevelopment #Mentorship
