Another day out seeing our digital front door product in use at Royal Blackburn Hospital. Great discussions with the staff around the benefits seen since implementing the product. Far less crowding in the A&E Reception which has a big impact on patient waiting time but also staff morale. As one of the first hospitals to use the new Booking and Referral Standard patients are assessed and booked an appointment quickly and safely. Very proud day yesterday seeing our NHS England Streaming & Redirection product start sending Booking and Referral Standard (BaRS) messages directly into Strata PathWays across 3 East Lancashire hospitals. The BaRS interoperability standard enables digital patient journeys between our front door assessment tool and the receiving hospital system. This allows key patient information to be shared with care providers quickly, safely and in a useable format. It was great working with the operational team at ELHT and Strata.
