STORE is excited to welcome the 2024 STORE Capital Summer Intern Class! These students join us from a variety of universities and have an interest in finance and real estate. They will be working alongside our teams in several departments in the company including: Accounting, Acquisitions, Data Analytics, Marketing, Portfolio Management and Underwriting. STORE’s Internship Program strives to cultivate and nurture the leaders of tomorrow by providing mentorship, training and exposure to STORE and the finance industry. Every intern will be able to gain practical business skills and showcase their knowledge through a final project at the conclusion of the summer cycle. STORE Capital’s former Chairman has been equipping under-resourced high school students with a roadmap for success in life and business through the  Fleischer Scholars Program. Since the program’s founding in 2010, 2,000+ students have enrolled in the program, 80% of program participants have gone on to attend college, and 85% are first generation college students. This summer, Fleischer Scholars will be expanded and introduced into the NAF high school system. The NAF system is taught in 34 states, 131 cities and currently has 115,000 students. The Fleischer Scholars Program creates a roadmap for success for these students by teaching them how to become “Master Adaptive Learners”, lessons include: How to Think, How to Learn, How to Write, How to Solve Problems and How to be Adaptable. The program also teaches students how to get scholarships and network for success. As we complete this Mental Health Awareness Month of May, we are proud to recognize leadership that prioritizes mental health and wellness. STORE Capital’s President & CEO, Mary Fedewa supported her alma mater by offering the Headspace app to all North Carolina State students. Headspace supports individual mental health, through evidence-based mediation, mental health coaching and other mindfulness tools. Adoption of the app at North Carolina State University was impressive with 3,252 students downloading the app and ~70% using it daily or weekly. Additional stats from a recent survey include: >92% of students reported that the app improved their sleep; >93% reported improved focus; and >98% would recommend the app. The success of this app has inspired STORE to announce that the Headspace app will be made available for all STORE Employees as a company benefit. “At STORE, we believe that the well-being of our team members, particularly their mental health, is paramount to our shared success.
