About us
Supplementing nutritional needs, free of charge, for the economically distressed within our local communities. The St. Joseph Food Program is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that has operated since 1982. Weekly we distribute 30 tons of fresh food and non-perishable items to hundreds of men, women and children – the elderly, working poor and temporarily unemployed. We are funded by cash and food donations from individuals, churches, businesses and foundations.

It's official 🎈 Scott, our Director of Operations, has officially surpassed his goal from last year of 30 cones eaten at Lamers Dairy for June Dairy Month! With 10 days left to go in the month, how many cones do you think he will eat?? We have been keeping track and collecting the wrappers from cones here at St. Joe's, and so far we have counted 176 cones eaten by our pantry volunteers and staff! Visit Lamers Dairy this month and support St. Joe's with their 50 cent soft serve cone promotion! How many cones have you had so far this month? 🍦

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our capital campaign! We are officially at 94% of our goal, with only $124,000 left to go. This renovation project is for the entire community we serve at St. Joe's, and we hope you will participate. What a beautiful morning yesterday to celebrate the groundbreaking for our capital campaign renovation project, Grow with St. Joe's! Thank you to all those that came out to celebrate with us, and to all the donors and sponsors who make this project possible. We were so proud to include staff, board members, and volunteers in our groundbreaking this morning. A shout out to Miron Construction Co., Inc. for their expertise and partnership on this project, as well as their generous gift of a $500,000 match. Another thank you to EUA for their design work to plan a beautiful plan for our renovation. We cannot wait to get started on this work!
