Like generations before us, we are committed to growing trees and operating mills to create value for Stimson and the communities in which we operate. Stimson has been in business since the 1850’s and is one of the largest privately family owned forest products companies in the United States. We own 500,000 plus acres of forest land in the Western United States. Stimson has over 700 employees and several locations in Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Montana.
