Today, our incredible Steritech Northeast team came together to create heartfelt cards of hope and encouragement for children who are hospitalized. I am deeply passionate about this organization and the invaluable support they provide to families in need. Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Steritech! 🇺🇸 We know this holiday calls for fireworks, fun, and festive cookouts so here are some tips to keep things safe while celebrating: ⭐ Never use the same plate or cutting board for raw and cooked products. ⭐ Use separate tongs, spatulas, and forks for raw and cooked items. ⭐ Always use a meat thermometer in the thickest part of the meat to verify temperature. Don’t guess, use color, or use your finger to gauge if food is done. ⭐ If cooking beef steaks or pork chops to a minimum of 145°F, but under 160°F, they must have a 3-minute rest time before eating. ⭐ Pregnant women, young children, and elderly individuals should not eat hot dogs that have not been cooked until steaming hot.
