    Imagine landing your dream job. 🤩 The company is incredible, your new boss seems great, and you get to do work you love and are exceptionally great at doing. You’re filled with anticipation and excitement and can’t wait to see what lies ahead! 🥳 On your first day, you fill out the typical paperwork, make your tax selections, set up direct deposit, and sign the employee handbook. Then, your boss shares a Google folder with you that’s chock full of SOPs, video walk-thrus, and other information to do your job. As they wrap up, leaving you on your own, they say... “I’m super busy, I’m sure you understand. I know you’re going to do great; I only hire the best! Let me know if you have any questions.” 😳👀😱🫥 All the anticipation and excitement of the morning rushes out of you like the wind rushing out of a popped balloon. You think to yourself, “That’s it? I thought there would be more.” This is the experience we create for new hires when we don’t intentionally create a good onboarding program. And it has some serious consequences for businesses. ➡️ In fact, 1 in 3 new hires leave a job within the first 90 days. (I know, shocking right?!)     Do you agree? The biggest challenge I see small business owners facing when leading teams is this 👇🏻 They lack time and space to process the challenges they’re facing in order to solve them. The clients I work with have a deep-seated desire to care for and do right by their people. However, it can often feel like you run around with your hair on fire, herding cats all day. 🥴 Clearly, that’s not the ideal environment for tackling problems and taking care of your team.
