We’re thrilled to recognize newly elected PGA of America Golf Professional Heath Virgin, PGA. Virgin is an Assistant Professional at Scioto Country Club Country Club and a graduate of the PGA Golf Management University Program at Eastern Kentucky University . He splits his time between Columbus, OH and Augusta, GA. The Southern Ohio Section, PGA of America is an association of over 500 golf professionals whose mission is to promote the interest, participation and enjoyment in the game of golf; establish and maintain professional standards of practice, and enhance the well-being of golf professionals. The Southern Ohio PGA is also made up of over 450 junior golfers that are members of the SOPGA Junior Tour and Futures Tour. The section promotes the game of golf through foundation work including the SOPGA Reach, SOPGA HOPE, and Drive, Chip and Putt.
