ISHINE WINNER MAY 2024 - TRACY ELLIOT! The personal health and wellbeing of our Residents and Center Team Members is a paramount focus for everyone to ensure a Caring Approach in Everything We Do. This philosophy is a part of the culture at our Warner Robins Rehabilitation Center and was recently demonstrated by Tracy Elliott, who has been the successful Admissions Coordinator for the past six years. Tracy heard that a co-worker had a preventative breast cancer screen where an issue was identified early. With scheduled surgery for this team member coming up, Tracy decided she wanted to show solidarity and support by ordering special Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirts for the team. A shirt that said “Warrior" was purchased for the team member who would be undergoing the procedure and she purchased shirts that said “Support Squad” for the team to wear, showing emotional support for their beloved and respected teammate. The shirts were presented during a surprise event, and everyone rallied around, standing together as they offered a strong showing of support. Tracy also offered a purple teddy bear and some snacks that their dear friend could take with her reminding everyone involved that she is loved and cared for during and after the procedure. We would like to offer our Sincere Appreciation to Tracy for taking the time and initiative to show a Caring Approach in Everything she does.
