On #Juneteenth, we commemorate the day in 1865 when the last enslaved people in the United States were emancipated. This is a significant moment in American history, symbolizing freedom and the ongoing pursuit of equality. We take this opportunity to reflect and progress. Yesterday, our EnRapport employee resource group hosted a Juneteenth celebration with guest speaker Captain (Ret.) Charles L. Alphin Sr., senior instructor and curriculum consultant of The Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change (The King Center). He reflected on Dr. King’s nonviolence philosophy, using our minds to change hearts, and ways we all can commit to fostering a future where equality is at the forefront of our values. #FuelingEquity
