About us
Our mission at Sophia’s Fund is derived from a simple question, “What would Sophie want?" Sophia's Fund is dedicated to helping families in their crusade against cancer; either financially or otherwise. We assist with life changes; raising awareness to gain greater support in the local and national communities; and ultimately strive to allow families to focus their energy on the battle. As a fully volunteer run 501c3, all funds raised go directly to these families in need.

From the Sophia's Fund Board of Directors - THANK YOU to all who helped us surpass our goal and raise over $5,200 during our Sophia's Supreme Virtual Auction and Film Premiere. Whether you were a sponsor, a winning bidder or auction participant, or someone who simply shared our event, your contribution has not gone unnoticed. We are so grateful for your support which will allow us to make an even greater impact for families who have a child with cancer in 2024. Because of our event sponsors, supporters (new and loyal), and in addition to our year-end event, a significant contribution from Dancers Making A Difference, this upcoming year we will be able to increase the number of families receiving financial assistance, increase our research funding contributions, and form new partnerships with hospitals for Project Smile. It is with our deepest gratitude that we wish you all many thanks and health and happiness in 2024!

This #GivingTuesday we invite you all to join our Sophia's Supreme Virtual Auction & Film Premiere! It is an amazing way to give back to families in the pediatric cancer community and check off some holiday shopping! We also would love to have you give us 15 minutes of your time to get to know Sophia and her family on a more personal level through her dad and our founder, Ben Donnarumma. The work we do each and every day is to answer the question "What would Sophie want?" and even at just four years old while going through her own cancer journey the answer was loud and clear - help her friends and other kids who are diagnosed with cancer. #GivingTuesday2023 #SophiasFund #ChildhoodCancer #MoreThan4 #GoGold #ChildhoodCancerAwareness #SophiasSupreme https://lnkd.in/g8h3Hvws

Boston Red Sox went GOLD for #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth and Member of the Board of Directors Kimberly McCullen was there representing #SophiasFund! Our former Executive Director and current Board Member Tony Stoddard was instrumental in helping Fenway Park #GoGold and he was able to do “Something Big” to honor the life of his son Cole and all the other brave children who are faced with childhood cancer. As we #GoGoldForChildhoodCancer, your donations will help provide financial assistance to families and fund research toward better treatments and ultimately, a cure!! How are you going to #GoGold this September?
