Today is the ONE MONTH countdown for #naturalproducts #expowest. This will be SOMOS Foods 3rd EXPO WEST and my 12th time attending the show! Each year, I find myself just as excited to reunite with my CPG family as I was the year before.
If you're newer to the Expo West scene, here are my top three tips for brands:
#1 Attend Before You Spend: Before you spend money on a booth of your own, attend the show to observe. Walk the floor, observe what others in your space are doing and take it all in. It's hard to describe Expo - it's something you have to experience.
#2 Delicious Food Wins: People can't fall in love with your brand unless they can taste your products. Think hard about the ratio of budget spent on creating the most delicious food possible vs. travel, booth logistic and decor expenses. The best compliment we can get at the SOMOS booth is, "wow, I can't believe this came out of the microwave!"
#3 Make Moving Billboards: From our shirts, to our booth, to our tote bags, to the plates and cups that show attendees carry around the floor while eating our walking nachos, we're flooding the floor with SOMOS pink! Expo is crowded and the more you can get people repping your brand, the more foot traffic your booth will get.
