Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mobile Energy Rentals, LLC (“MER”), a leading provider of distributed power solutions serving the oilfield and commercial & industrial end-markets.    Solaris’ Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Bill Zartler commented, “We are excited to welcome the MER team to Solaris and expand our mobile infrastructure solutions offering to our customers. MER’s products and services complement our all-electric offering and provide access to new end-market opportunities including oil and gas production, midstream and downstream activities as well as various commercial & industrial applications. As we evaluate the ‘electrification of everything’ and computing power growth megatrends, we believe reliable power access will become a growing challenge that larger scale, distributed power generation assets are well-positioned to address. Last week, Solaris had the pleasure of teaming up with Kids' Meals, Inc., an organization devoted to fighting childhood hunger. Our dedicated CREATORS went all out - contributing to Kids’ Meals’ food drive, decorating and packing over 1,100 lunch bags for children in need.   In Houston, over 80,000 children six years old and under suffer from food insecurity daily. This alarming statistic means that 1 in 5 kids in Houston face uncertainty about their next meal. Recently, our Solaris manufacturing team ran a support drive for The Ark Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter in Brownwood, TX. We donated needed items to aid The Ark in providing emergency shelter, transportation, food, and clothing, among countless other services. Last week, Solaris had the opportunity to volunteer with the Rescued Pets Movement, a local organization that saves stray animals from euthanization and finds homes for them in areas where dogs and cats are scarce. Last Friday, Solaris proudly sponsored the Break A Clay event by Candlelighters Houston, an organization that supports children with cancer and their families. Thank you to EOG Resources and Marathon Oil Corporation for joining us on this special occasion!   Together, those involved helped Candlelighters raise over $130,000 in a single day, and we are grateful for contributing to such a great cause.
