🔆 Wish Farms: A Century-Old Family Business Embraces Solar Energy 🔆 For over 100 years, Wish Farms has been a cornerstone in the produce industry. This fourth-generation family business, founded by Harris Wishnatzki, has recently invested in a solar system with the support of a Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) grant. Nick Wishnatzki, Public Relations Manager and great-grandson of the founder, highlights this significant step towards sustainability. The 80,000 sq ft solar installation produces 1.6 million kWh annually, covering 50-70% of their energy needs. Nick advises other rural businesses to consider solar energy, citing its reliability and cost-saving benefits. 🌿 Discover more about their journey and the impact of the REAP grant: https://lnkd.in/eBu7iZGg
