WHAT WE DO We provide non-profit organizations, agents of social change and sustainable entities with access to high level event planning, marketing and execution at rates they can afford. WHY WE DO IT Non-profits and sustainable social organizations often lack the funding and expertise to put on a effective, major fundraising event. These events provide crucial funding for their organizational programs. Tens of thousands rely on these organizations for survival, education, support and relief. Our goal is to help these organizations achieve a level of financial support that will allow them to serve out their mission in the community with the greatest possible impact. WHO WE ARE The Social Enterprises team is a group of dynamic leaders, committed to enhancing local communities by organizing top-notch events for non-profits, socially driven and sustainably focused entities. We believe in the power of community; in changing the world with our actions; that sustainability and social responsibility are the same.

I'm still feeling incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to lead this year's student Sustainability Action Challenge at the 2024 Washington Oregon Cascadia Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC). This year, we had a wide array of student groups participate, dedicating part of the three-day conference to crafting sustainable solutions for the challenges facing their university through employing various tools such as systems thinking, stakeholder mapping, and visioning. Having participated in previous years, it warms my heart to see these motivated students brainstorm holistic solutions to make their community more connected and equitable. Moment of gratitude: Huge thank you to Leticia Cavazos Sanchez at OSU for the support and Social Enterprises, Inc. for putting on the event. Here's to another successful conference next year at Portland Community College! When sustainability, higher education, and events all roll into one, you know my heart will be happy! The Washington Oregon Cascadia Higher Education Sustainability Conference (WOHESC) last week was a huge success with record attendance (post-COVID), 33 colleges represented, amazing speakers and overall good vibes had by all. I overheard so many inspiring student conversations, and just loved witnessing that flame of empowerment in the next generation of climate action heroes! We are fortunate to have forward-thinking initiatives on our Cascadia college campuses, and this conference for sharing ideas. Thank you, Western Washington University for being an amazing host - we even survived the snow! Workplace WIN for Social Enterprises, Inc.
