About us

Founded in 1981, SMPS Houston is one of the most active and respected chapters in the country. One of the top 10 chapters in the country, SMPS Houston has more than 200 members representing more than 170 firms in the AEC industry. The chapter´s membership includes a mix of principals (21%), business development officers (17%) and marketing managers (24%) that are focused on developing relationships and generating revenues for their companies. The balance of the membership consists of individuals who provide marketing support and resources for business development. SMPS Houston is committed to being the premier resource for those working in the built environment. Over the years, the Houston chapter has received several awards from SMPS National and continues to strive for excellence.
