The 2024 #SkollWF supported our growing global community as we convened in Oxford to accelerate solutions for today’s most pressing problems. Each year reminds us that together, working as a collective, our possibilities are limitless. We were honored to celebrate this year’s Awardees; Food For Education, SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF), IllumiNative Org and Meedan. Wanjira Mathai, Eddie Ndopu, Áurea Carolina and Imran Ahmed along with so many other speakers and panelists created special moments throughout the week. Watch our closing film to see highlights from this year's gathering.

Powering social entrepreneurs and social innovators who develop bold and equitable solutions to transform our world.
About us
The Skoll Foundation seeks to catalyze transformational social change by investing in, connecting, and championing social entrepreneurs and other social innovators who together advance bold and equitable solutions to the world’s most pressing problems. Jeff Skoll, the first employee and first President of eBay, created the Skoll Foundation in 1999 to pursue his vision of a sustainable world of peace and prosperity for all. Led by CEO Don Gips, the Skoll Foundation is at an exciting inflection point in its two-decade long history. With equity at the center of an evolving strategy, the Foundation seeks to fundamentally shift the trajectory of urgent global challenges including health and pandemics, inclusive economies, climate action, effective governance, and racial justice. Over the past 20 years, the Foundation has awarded more than $935 million worldwide, including investments in 165 organizations of social entrepreneurs and other social innovators across five continents. Skoll also operates the annual Skoll World Forum, the premier conference on social entrepreneurship, and shares the stories of social entrepreneurs through partnerships with leading film and broadcast organizations including the PBS NewsHour and the Sundance Institute, to drive awareness of social entrepreneurship and its potential to address the critical issues of our time. Mental Health Collaboration Webinar: A Dive into Art Therapy 7 August 2024 : 14:00 (BST) / 15:00 (CEST) Art Therapy is a behavioral therapy that can be practiced independently or as a complement to drug therapy. It involves outpatient sessions, which are more patient-friendly and less stigmatizing than traditional hospital-based approaches. Art therapists collaborate with psychologists, therapists, educators, and specialists from the cultural and artistic realms to provide this form of therapy. The Mental Health Collaboration’s webinar will include a quick introduction to understanding the tenets of Art Therapy, and it’s positive impact on mental health. This will be followed by a look into the effects of Art Therapy among two student populations- one concerned with suicidality and the other with drug and alcohol dependency. Join Anna Mikosz, the President of The European Foundation For Art Therapy for this exciting talk! Register here: https://lnkd.in/eSVqXwGC
