Sioux Empire United Way is a community impact organization with a mission to improve lives. It is the most efficient investment you can make. More than 90 cents of every dollar raised goes directly toward programs and services. Sioux Empire United Way ranks 1st among United Ways that raise over 1 million dollars in lowest administrative costs, and serves an estimated 1 out of every 3 individuals each year in our community through over 80 different programs. Gifts to Sioux Empire United Way stay local, benefiting 33 communities in the four county area of Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha and Turner. Sioux Empire United Way ranks 2nd in the nation in per capita giving, thanks to contributions from 27,000 individuals and 700 businesses.

  • "If the hands are going up and down, the blood is going round and round 🫀"   Sioux Empire United Way staff had a fantastic CPR training class this week with the Sioux Falls Fire Rescue team! Not only did we learn how to recognize an emergency and perform hands-only CPR, but we learned how to use an AED too!   Have you heard about our Save A Life Program?
