Sigma Kappa Sorority is a national women's organization founded at Colby College in 1874. Our purpose is to provide women lifelong opportunities and support for social, intellectual and spiritual development by bringing women together to positively impact our communities. Our national headquarters is located in Carmel, Indiana.

We are so proud of Taylor Freeman, Kappa Pi collegiate member, for her recent accomplishments! For several months now, Taylor has worked with a creative team of members from Mattel and the National Down Syndrome Society to help create a doll for Barbie’s latest Fashionistas line. By sharing her story and insights, Taylor was able to help creatively design the FIRST ever Black Barbie with Down Syndrome! Congratulations, Taylor! 🕊️ 💜

Today, we celebrate, and wish you a happy Independence Day! We continue to honor the men and women who sacrificed themselves so that we can have freedom in America today. NHQ will be closed in observance on Thursday, July 4th, and Friday, July 5th. We will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 8th.
