With great sadness, we share the tragic news of the devastating loss of Alfred G. Valles M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I. Dr. Valles was an esteemed and respected member of our practice. A Central Valley native, Dr. Valles graduated from Kerman High School and Fresno State University before attending University of Wisconsin School of Medicine. He completed his Residency and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic and returned to the Valley with a heart to positively and passionately impact our community. His patients and colleagues knew him as a highly skilled and dedicated cardiologist who touched many lives in a positive and loving way. He represented the very best in medicine and strived daily to achieve his vision for world-class care in the Valley. The accident that claimed Dr. Valles’s life also took his beloved wife, Selina. The couple leaves three children and a circle of friends and family grieving their sudden death. Please join us in praying for this precious family and all who have been heartbroken by this tragedy. We especially think of the Valles’s oldest child, Madison, and her husband, Blake; their daughter, Ava, a recent high school graduate now attending Fresno State, and their son, Diego, a 16-year-old junior at Clovis North High School.
