Every summer, we select high school and college students to take part in the Shadowbox Performance Academy’s Arts Immersion Program. This multidisciplinary program that gives a real taste of the  theatre, comedy, music and dance worlds. We had 44 applicants and are pleased to announce that we have selected 16 students to join us this summer from Bishop Hartley, Capital University, Centennial, Gahanna Lincoln, Hilliard Davidson, Licking Heights, the Ohio State University, Pickerington North, Reynoldsburg, Watkins Memorial, the Wellington School, Westland, and homeschool. Congrats to all! We can't wait to work with you!

Writing is an integral part of producing original theatre. Shadowbox Live has a team of eight experienced writers who work together to develop our shows. From sketch comedy to interpretives and adaptations, these talented individuals bring an incredibly diverse range of skills to our team. Our current production, Behind Closed Doors, started as an idea in June of 2023 and Sleepy Hollow: An American Ghost Story, which opens in October was written in August of 2023.
