ICYMI: Venus Aerospace was selected for a NASA SBIR continuing our work on Rotating Detonation Rocket Engines (RDREs). In this project, we will work with NASA to develop optimized nozzle contours by leveraging our proven RDRE hardware. Venus continues to advance RDRE research and development to solve commercial, civil, and defense missions. We will first transition this flight-proven model into a reusable hypersonic flight system to meet U.S. Defense needs for high-speed flight tests. Dr. Burton previously served as the Worldwide Physician Executive at Amazon Web Services (AWS), leading the Imaging and Diagnostics division. In addition to clinical practice, her career has spanned cloud, data analytics, and radiology AI. Along with her role as CMIO and Head of Commercial Healthcare at Flywheel, Dr. Burton is a Board-Certified Radiologist, on faculty at the University of Washington.
