We're excited to share that together with our partners, Stony Brook University and LIMEP - Long Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership, SecondMuse has been selected as a Phase 2: Create winner of the MAKE IT Prize Strategies Track by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)! Our project looks at increasing job growth by attracting new manufacturers to expand and relocate in Long Island, NY region, and connecting them to #climatetech innovators to drive clean energy solutions. Building regenerative and climate positive 🌿economic development in Monterey, CA. Regenerative Monterey is an initiative that leads Monterey County to be an equitable and climate positive economy through innovative, community-led programs across four sectors: tourism, construction, agriculture, and blue economy. Five pilot projects emerged from what the SecondMuse Regenerative Monterey team learned from the participatory research process, and will demonstrate what is possible to build a more regenerative, equitable, and diverse economy.
