After overcoming her own CPR crisis, Felicia Jackson invented CPR Wrap—a template with step-by-step instructions for lay responders. Jackson developed her idea into a prototype by seeking guidance from SCORE and participating in LAUNCH CHA and The Company Lab's programs. She initially hired two employees and has plans to add two more. With patents pending on two inventions, Jackson has delivered two TEDx talks and pitched to AOL Founder Steve Case during his Rise of the Rest Tour. Today, Jackson partners with school systems, hospitals and airlines, where CPR Wrap saves lives. "Everything started with my first mentor session at SCORE," she says, reflecting on her journey.
