Congratulations to all the Fathers! We're honored to be a part of this incredible partnership with NYC Department of Correction and NYC Department of Youth & Community Development. #SCOFamilyofServices

Thanks to a partnership with #DOC, SCO Family of Services Young Adult Workforce Program, the Fatherhood Program and the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), young fathers in custody at the Robert N. Davoren Center (RNDC) on #RikersIsland recently celebrated their completion of a 12-week program that assisted them in both developing parenting skills and reconnecting with their children. On June 18, our Division of Programs and Community Partnerships hosted a first of its kind culmination ceremony at the facility for the young dads and their families to recognize them for their achievement. Commissioner Lynelle Maginley-Liddie and DYCD Commissioner Keith Howard also attended the celebration to commend the young men for their success in the initiative. “Over the last several weeks, we have seen tremendous growth and willingness to learn in our young adults and we are very proud to celebrate this milestone achievement with them,” said DOC Workforce Development Deputy Director Dominguez. #FlashbackFriday
