The San Antonio Sports School Parks program began in 2012 and has only blossomed since. Through the generosity of the John L. Santikos Charitable Foundation and in partnership with the City of San Antonio and participating school districts, San Antonio Sports has opened 39 school parks throughout the city, expanding access to parks for San Antonio communities. https://ow.ly/aCNI50SzMHE #DaretoDream #PowerofSport

San Antonio Sports Corporate Cup has become an annual tradition for area companies. That all began in 2012, when the event first came to UIW’s campus. About 3,500 employees from 50 local companies competed in 13 events, each vying for their division’s Corporate Cup trophy. 🏆 A San Antonio Sports favorite, Corporate Cup has only grown through the years and will return to UIW on May 31, 2025. https://ow.ly/RZAG50SuNQq #DaretoDream #PowerofSport

What's in a name? The SA Sports Foundation became San Antonio Sports in 2009 in celebration of its 25th anniversary. While the “foundation” was dropped from the name, the foundation of the organization remained; to transform the community through the Power of Sport. https://ow.ly/Sqhk50Sr87c #DaretoDream #PowerofSport

This school year San Antonio Sports and Valero Energy enjoyed sharing inspiring stories of middle and high school athletes giving back, going Beyond the Game. A huge shout-out to all the coaches, athletes, and teams from South Texas who have represented us so well and have stood out through major accomplishments, both at the UIL level and in the community. We had a record number of Beyond the Game presented by Valero submissions, with more than 160 from 24 different school districts. Additionally, we awarded 55 letterman patches to student-athletes for exemplifying values of integrity, respect, teamwork, excellence, and community service. #BeyondtheGame #PowerofSport VALERO ENERGY PARTNERS LP

The Rock ‘n Roll Running Series came to the streets of San Antonio in 2008. Weaving their way past the Alamo City’s historic landmarks, 30,000 runners took part in the race, the largest of its kind in Texas history at the time. The stars were out, with blazing fast times coming from Olympians like Brian Sell. Held annually for more than 15 years, Rock n’ Roll returns to San Antonio on December 8, 2024. https://bit.ly/3Vwv10b #DaretoDream #PowerofSport #RnRSanAntonio
