We want to ensure that all students living at Saint Louise House show up ready to learn on the first day of school! Our back-to-school initiative ensures that every student, regardless of their circumstances, has the tools they need to succeed academically and socially. By providing backpacks and school supplies, we remove barriers to education, instill confidence, and alleviate financial stress for families. Your support makes a tangible difference, empowering the next generation for a brighter future. How it works: 📚 After you commit to sponsoring a student using the form (linked above), we will send you a shopping list. 📚 Shop for the backpack, the school’s required supplies, and a book the student wants to read. The budget per student is approximately $150.00. 📚You will need to deliver the packed backpack to Saint Louise House (Austin) no later than Thursday, July 25th.

It was an absolute honor to host Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.'s esteemed regional and international leadership at Saint Louise House today! Amidst their regional conference, the International President, Regional Director, Austin Alumnae Chapter President, this year's DST conference coordinator, and special project manager graciously made time to stop by and learn more about our mission. We're deeply grateful for their generosity in assembling gift bags for every family that we will distribute tomorrow during a celebration they have organized for Saint Louise House family residents. We are profoundly grateful for their support in making a difference in the lives of residents.

Recognizing safe, stable, affordable housing as a platform for health, they have awarded Saint Louise House a generous two-year grant.
