Her profound insights and wealth of expertise have left a lasting mark on attendees as she provided our community with invaluable knowledge and practical tools for enhancing dementia care. Teepa's commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of dementia has undoubtedly elevated the standard of care at The Palms of Largo. In their commitment to promoting person-centered care and providing educational opportunities for team members, Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation hosted a Virtual Dementia Tour in collaboration with Second Wind Dreams on September 6. Team members described this as an enlightening and memorable learning experience. The Virtual Dementia Tour was made possible through a CMP grant from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and the State of Florida, the Agency for Health Care Administration and Second Wind Dreams. Sabal Palms Health & Rehabilitation also offers comprehensive orientation programs for new team members, annual education classes and free CPR training.
