At #RxY, we are very interested in the updated #EULAR recommendations that all TNFi-bDMARDS can be used throughout pregnancy and that other non-TNFi-bDMARDS (such as #abatacept, #secukinumab and #ixekizumab) can be used if needed in patients with conditions such as #PsA, #AxSpA and #RA. How do Physicians consider and ultimately prescribe a therapy for a patient diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis? There are many market research/syndicated studies that aid in understanding the performance of a particular therapy in a disease area - RxY stands out as the only syndicated study to support the true why / why not - behind physician treatment choices for dynamic patients.  At RxY, we purposefully design our patient chart audit in order to bridge the qualitative-quantitative gap and address this question. Promising development in atopic dermatitis (#AD) with LEO Pharma's #Adbry offering patients a strong option for continuous maintenance therapy. (Results presented from #ECZTEND trial at #AAD2024) The findings are very consistent with RxY's recent AD data showcasing #Adbry having an expected treatment duration beyond 3 years for 43% of patients it is prescribed for, outcompeting oral #JAKis in the same category. The optimism in the room was palpable during the #AAD late breakers this weekend. #MoonLake’s update on sonelokimab’s #MIRA trial showcased meaningful improvements to #hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) patient quality of life (#QoL), skin pain, and disease severity – all of which are factors of top influence according to HCPs’ rationale during HS treatment choice in #RxY studies.   Also in the #HS space, #UCB shared updates on bimekizumab’s performance in the #BEHEARD I/II trials, demonstrating continuous skin pain reductions for up to 48 weeks.   #RxY’s latest HS US data will be available in May – get in touch to find out how HCPs are considering and prescribing #biologic treatment options in HS. https://lnkd.in/du-zzibN #AAD2024 #dermatology

The beautiful tower behind me has been standing for 150 years as part of Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, located on Beech Street in downtown San Diego about a 20-minute walk from the AAD convention center. In reflecting upon the possibility of all things, I heard an argument at AAD yesterday, theorizing the potential of the GLP-1 RA class of drugs providing a psoriatic benefit to diabetes patients with comorbid psoriasis. What a perfect night for a stroll down 5th Avenue right in the heart of historic San Diego and directly across the street from the AAD convention. As I walked, I reflected on a few compelling atopic dermatitis (AD) learnings from the day, most notably, the majority of moderate-to-severe AD patients are still experiencing uncontrolled disease symptoms. There is still so much work to do…. But thankfully it appears to be getting done. Great, great show thus far!!
