The Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy and Aging Research is a hub for multidisciplinary and translational research focused on improving population health. Since its founding in 1985, the Institute has brought together faculty from the social and behavioral sciences, clinical disciplines, basic sciences and related fields across and beyond Rutgers into a vibrant network. Their rigorous theory-based research is actively addressing salient and timely challenges in the areas of health equity, healthy aging, behavioral health, pharmacoepidemiology, health services and health policy.

Meet one of IFH's amazing summer interns, Naga Valli Anusha Addanki - a Rutgers School of Public Health student concentrating on epidemiology. Anusha is working with Rutgers Global Health Institute faculty Dr. ubydul haque using social media data capturing strategies to conduct vaccine hesitancy research.
This summer, 12 amazing interns were selected to take part in IFH's Summer Research Internship where they are paired up with mentors to gain experience with population health research.
