We are excited to announce the groundbreaking of the South Piedmont Community College Aseptic Training Facility in Monroe, NC, which took place on July 22, 2024! This facility will offer experiential learning spaces, labs, and simulated manufacturing environments to train students and professionals in clean space procedures, supporting the growing life sciences industry in North Carolina. Key features of the 21,000 sq ft facility include high-flex classrooms, micro and QC labs, an autoclave, a process utility space, locker rooms, office spaces, and a state-of-the-art Aseptic Training Ballroom. Construction, supported by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals and the local state delegation, is expected to be completed by mid-2026. We are proud to lead this project with Jenkins•Peer Architects. This facility will be a vital asset for life sciences education and training in our state. #OurPassionIsBuilding #BuildingsWithPurpose
