In light of the 2024 Olympic Cauldron officially being lit, we want to wish Team Canada all the best!   We’re proud to have extended our partnership with the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) earlier this year for another 8 years. We're so excited to be working with MIT on an advisory committee assisting with the next phase of their Assessment Report of Live Music and Climate Change. 📑 The study aims to assess the live music - climate change relationship, identify where changes can be made so that the industry and concert goers can make a tangible difference, and analyze the latest technology and practices that key industry players can utilize. ♻ Our own Jason Bailer Losh and Anne Cecile Croucier will be working closely on this project that we're excited to see reveal valuable insights into the sustainable future of Live Music. ⏩ 🎸

Last week, Rock Lititz hosted a High School Career Day for Juniors and Seniors interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. Our own Shelley Barcello was a leader and she spent the day showing a group around. She introduced them to the other vendors and spoke to them about her experience working in the industry, which included introducing the niche field which we occupy at Rock-it Cargo. Good luck to all these high schoolers as they decide where to go when they graduate!

We're proud to be the first corporate sponsor of Angel City Aerospace. This remarkable organization, founded and run by Black women, is dedicated to expanding aerospace career opportunities into underserved communities. Founders Mia Hutcherson and Akilah Garris didn't see aerospace as a viable option growing up because they lacked role models who looked like them working in the field. Today, the two have united to run programs at local schools teaching children about the different professions within the industry and sponsoring individuals to pursue these careers. They hope to continue empowering communities that have not been historically represented in aerospace by leading by example in the field. Last month, they visited our LAX office to educate us on their mission, partnership opportunities, and to share advice.
