We are having a great time at the Communities of Compassion Providing H.E.L.P Event! This event embodies the collective commitment to fostering self-sufficiency among the people of Delaware. Right now the event is serving as a platform for pivotal change, featuring an array of services designed to make an immediate and substantial impact on the lives of those less fortunate. From the mobile hygiene trailer offering showers and laundry, to a mobile health van, barbers providing haircuts, a JP Court Judge addressing legal matters, a shuttle service to the DMV for state IDs, and support from Porter Center Staff offering connected services, the event is poised to provide a comprehensive support network. #Rockford50

Rockford Center is excited to share that we attended Courageous Hearts' Family Fun Day today at their main campus in Lincoln! Courageous Hearts specializes in Equine Therapy provided by master's level clinicians and is one of the few programs that also covers eating disorder services for adults and adolescents. Rockford Center is incredibly grateful for this partnership. Together, with Courageous Hearts, we ensure that individuals in our care continue their journey with access to comprehensive programs like this special place of recovery and healing. It was an honor to meet so many families, hear their stories, have fun and enjoy the weather! We had an incredible experience attending and exhibiting at First State Alliance of Recovery Residences’s (FSARR) Strengthening Foundations Rebuilding Lives Conference! We heard from a fantastic line up of speakers, including keynote speaker, Eugene Young (pictured), Delaware’s former State Director of the State Housing Authority. His powerful call to action for creating sustainable and quality housing for individuals in recovery resonated deeply with all. Quality recovery residences offer a stable and supportive environment, allowing individuals to thrive and rebuild their lives. This aligns perfectly with our mission to support our patients every step of the way, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to achieve lasting recovery. A heartfelt thank you to FSARR's Executive Director, Andrew Thurn, for hosting such an exceptional conference and for inviting the Rockford Center. Your unwavering support and dedication to improving recovery services are truly appreciated. At the Rockford Center, we are committed to providing comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment services. Being able to connect with industry leaders, professionals, and recovery advocates at this conference was invaluable.
