Communities nationwide are in need of additional funding to address higher rate of collisions and other safety related enhancements in their roadways, this funding will help address some of the issues and enhance roadway safety for the motoring public in their respective communities.
Rural roads often see higher rates of collisions due to a lack of funding and maintenance. In Webster County, IA, we approved a major grant that will improve safety along 32.5 miles of rural county roads where higher rates of crashes and fatalities occur.
