Happy Throwback Thursday! We miss seeing our past families stopping by our retired houses. Meghan and Emmet Garriot had a last visit in May to our retired Park Avenue Ronald McDonald House to drop off their collected tab tops.

Providing a home-away-from-home to seriously ill children and their families in St. Louis since 1981.
About us
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of St. Louis provides a home-away-from-home for families of seriously ill children. These children (eighteen years and younger), who live outside a 50-mile radius of St. Louis, are treated at local area hospitals, including St. Louis Children's Hospital, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, and Mercy Children's Hospital. In addition to St. Louis' three Ronald McDonald Houses and eight long-term apartments, there are three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. These unique spaces, located inside the three pediatric hospitals, provide a home-like atmosphere where families can take a shower, do laundry, grab a snack, use the Internet, watch TV, or just relax. Each year, Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis serves more than 14,000 local and out-of-town seriously ill children and their families.

Many families travel far from home to get treatment for their seriously ill or injured children. Often, it can be a long time to be away from home or to divide a family. And, for children facing a serious medical crisis, nothing seems scarier than not having their mom and dad close by for love and support. #keepingfamiliesclose
