When it comes to #HurricanePreparedness, having an Emergency Fund is essential! An emergency fund is a savings account dedicated to unexpected, necessary expenses. Financial advisors typically recommend you save enough to cover 3-6 months of living expenses (rent, groceries, bills, etc.). If you're just starting out, a manageable goal for your emergency fund is $1,000. You can reach that goal in 1 year by saving just $20 per week. For more information, view our checklist at https://lnkd.in/gYhSWFZR

Meet our VP of Operations, Lindsey Anderson! 👋 Lindsey has been with RiverLand for 15 years and counting. When there’s a problem, if Lindsey doesn’t already have the answer, she’ll be the one to find it! Here’s what she said about helping members: “I love helping people! When a member calls in with a problem, I’m excited when I can help them resolve it. Maybe it’s a quick fix that they forgot their password for online banking. Maybe it’s something much bigger like a death in the family. I’m always happy to help them work through the problem no matter how simple or complicated.”
