We are excited to celebrate our recent NESHCo Excellence in Health Promotion Campaign Award for the "Small Amount" MMS Text Messaging Initiative to raise awareness of the dangers of #fentanyl. We deeply value our partnership with Reach Consulting in the development of this campaign as well as our united goal to reduce overdose deaths and save the lives.
We're thrilled to announce that the Fentanyl Awareness campaign “Small Amount” MMS Text Messaging Initiative has received the NESHCo Excellence in Health Promotion Campaign award! We worked with the Rhode Island Department of Health on this project which used targeted MMS texting to reach areas experiencing a statistically significant increase in overdoses. The texts raised awareness about fentanyl risks and helped to distribute Naloxone. From February to July 2023, we responded to seven events of increased overdoses by sending 260,233 text messages. These texts resulted in 5,539 clicks to the included link to order Naloxone. #NESHCoAwards #PublicHealth #LamplighterAwards #ReachConsulting
