Last week at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was an amazing experience. I've been working in marketing for over 20 years, and it was the first time I saw so many people who look like me. I want to thank everyone who has been fighting for diversity and inclusion in our industry. If you're in a position of power, you can help by reaching back and bringing others with you. I often hear people say, "I don't want others to think I only hire people of color." But the truth is, nobody asks them those same questions. If we don't provide opportunities to people of color, who will? I hope to see even more representation of black faces in the future. Agencies and brand leadership it is critically important to invest in diversity. It's proven in the literature that diverse opinions significantly impact marketing performance. Do better!!

The team that plays together works better together. Over the last 30 years, science has shown that play is very productive for humans at any age; we need play to keep our brains flexible, ward off depression, sustain optimism, and sharpen our social-emotional skills. The Response Media Team is no stranger to having a little play fun. Earlier this month we got together at Amazing Escape to try our hand at solving the puzzles to get out in time.
