At Republic Bank, making a lasting IMPACT on our communities and on people’s lives is an important part of our business. Recently, the Nashville market donated funds to Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury to support their downpayment assistance program and recent Hammers and High Heels fundraiser, with proceeds going toward a home build for single mother and Franklin-native, Chasity Britton, and her four children. We think Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury board member and Republic Bank Tennessee Market President Chad Hart put it best: "This organization continues to work hard every day to address the need for affordable housing in our community, which has become such a critical issue. It is our desire to continue to work to be part of the solution and we could not be more grateful for what Habitat is doing in our market!" We value our continued partnership with Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury and their work to serve our community, and look forward to expanding our IMPACT together in the future. Yesterday, during YPAL’s inaugural Homecoming celebrating their 25th anniversary, Republic Bank EVP General Counsel, Christy Ames, was honored with a surprise award presented by Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg. Christy was awarded the Rebecca Jackson “Spirit of YPAL” award, which is presented to YPAL Alumni who leave a lasting impact on the organization, maximize the organization’s collective impact, and show continued leadership today. We can’t think of a more deserving recipient of such an award – Christy has poured her passion and expertise into YPAL as cofounder alongside former Jefferson County Judge-Executive, Rebecca Jackson, and served as YPAL’s second president. Not to mention all of her incredible work and leadership here at Republic Bank! We are so proud of Christy, her work with YPAL, and her immeasurable IMPACT in Louisville. Please join us in congratulating Christy for this amazing honor!

We are excited to celebrate the recent awards and accomplishments of Kenneth Webb, Vice President Senior Regional CRA Community Development Officer in our Northern Kentucky and Ohio market! Kenneth was one of nine selected honorees in the Cincinnati Open’s 513 Serves Program honoring people who make a positive impact in the Greater Cincinnati area. As part of the recognition and award, the tournament is making donations on his behalf to Holmes Middle School Youth Services Center, the Gateway Community and Technical College’s Food Pantry and Scholarship Fund, and the Conner High School Youth Services Center. We believe Kenneth sets an example for all through his selfless dedication to making Greater Cincinnati better through his time, talent, resources, active engagement on numerous boards, and by directly helping members of the community thrive. We are thrilled to see his work in the spotlight alongside the other 513 Serves honorees! In addition, he has been selected to join the Board of Directors at the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce this September. Republic Bank works to make major life events like opening a checking account, getting a business loan, or purchasing a home as accessible as possible for everyone. That’s why we were proud to partner with the Esperanza Latino Center to host a Financial Fitness Fair for Hispanic and Latinx communities in the Cincinnati area. Pamela Jara-Sciaraffia, Myrellys Nieves-Quiles, Rick Hocker, and Dana Meyer from our Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Retail and Mortgage divisions volunteered their time to help demystify common problems and myths associated with banking. Kenneth Webb, Sr. Regional CRA Development Officer, led the presentation with the help of a translator. This is the third Financial Fitness Fair we have shared with the Esperanza Latino Center of NKY, and we are thankful for their continued partnership. We were also joined by several service partners including Patti Anderson, Housing Supervisor with Catholic Charities Diocese of Covington; John Hammons, CDBG Home Coordinator, City of Covington; and Alex Navarrete, Realtor with Huff Realty. Many thanks to all who helped make this a successful event for the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Latinx community! Learn more about our community impact at republicbank.com/community

Republic Bank is thrilled to celebrate Juneteenth! Just as we have for the past several years, we brought the party to the community with our annual Juneteenth Celebration Event. Our NIA Business Resource Group ensures that these are celebrations with purpose, and remind us to remove friction and barriers between our communities and the services they need. This year, we offered free health education and screenings, built a new Little Library at the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA, and provided a space for people to gather and celebrate. These have been meaningful events, and this year was no exception. Kendra Sweatt, Construction Loan Admin Team Lead and NIA BRG Vice Chair said “The 4th Annual Republic Bank Juneteenth Celebration was a wonderful event, filled with music, delicious free food, and meeting people from the community. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and was thrilled to see such a strong turnout – more than 460 people joined this year! The event continues to grow every year and I am excited to see how it will evolve in the future.” We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s Republic Bank Juneteenth event a success!
