A resilient, regenerative supply chain can bring back the connection between the people who grow our food, and the people who eat it. It benefits all of us - from farmers to consumers - and everyone in between. Here's how: 💰 Farmer Prosperity: By building resilience in the face of climate change, we empower farmers to thrive, ensuring stability and raising income. Supporting regenerative practices not only safeguards livelihoods but also secures our food future. 🧩Future-Forward Thinking: Investing in a resilient supply chain means aligning with evolving consumer demands. From farm to fork, we're shaping a system that adapts to market needs while prioritizing a healthy planet. It's a win for both producers and consumers. 🔍 Transparency and Trust: A trusted certification - and the transparency it brings - plays a critical role in our journey towards regeneration. This empowers consumers to make informed choices, supporting practices that nourish the planet and communities. Each step towards regeneration strengthens our global ecosystem, ensuring a resilient and thriving future for all. When we support a regenerative food system, we invest in everyone's well-being. 🌍 📸: Derek Axten, Axten Family Farms #ResilientSupplyChain #RegenerativeFuture

We are deep into spring planting season in the northern hemisphere. 🌾 See a glimpse inside Linker Farms, as farmer Brock Linker plants his barley using a no-till seed drill, also known as an air seeder. This helps the soil maintain its structure and fertility, and it’s an effective practice to minimize disturbance. We are curious to hear your questions and thoughts around no-till practices. Drop them in the comments below, and let’s help each other learn more. 🎥: Linker Farms, Certified Regenified Tier 5 farm

"Transparency is key! Whether you sell direct to consumer or through an intermediary, only transparency can ensure that farmers get properly compensated." At the recent Eco Conscious Living Summit, the discussion led by Gally Mayer, co-founder of Certified Regenified Buena Vida Specialty Coffee (BVSC), underscored a powerful message: regenerative practices can and should flourish globally. This opens up a larger conversation about how regenerative practices are pivotal in addressing global environmental challenges and fostering a community where regeneration is central. It’s a call to action for all stakeholders to make regeneration a personal, tangible, and actionable reality across the globe. Join in the conversation, every choice and every action can contribute to a healthier planet.

Biodiversity occurs all around us in nature. When we imitate nature and focus on biodiversity, we can improve the health of our soil, our planet, and our people. Building diversity in the soil is essential for maintaining its productivity, resilience, and overall ecosystem functioning. Imagine a web of life beneath our feet, where each species plays a crucial role in strengthening the health of the soil and the ecosystems it supports. That’s why biodiversity is central in order to support these six critical outcomes (swipe to learn more): #Regenified #Biodiversity #RegenerativeAg #HealthyEcosystems

When it comes to soil health, the smallest living organisms can have the biggest impact. Most tilled soils become degraded and bacterially dominant, so decreasing things like tillage allows fungi to increase, giving farmers a leg-up in building healthier soil. Healthy soil filled with fungi gives plants access to a “nutrient highway”, which is exactly what it sounds like – a symbiotic relationship between fungi and plants that allows them to share nutrients, micronutrients, and water. These mycorrhizal fungi extend their thread-like structures (called hyphae) underground in an immense network, accessing nutrients that are not available to plant roots, then sharing  or exchanging those nutrients with the plant for things the fungi need like water and carbon. We’re digging into soil microbes in our #SoilMicrobeSeries. Look out for more to come. This is your chance to lean in and learn more.

Each insect has a part to play on a regenerative farm.🐞 A balance of the prey vs predator relationship among insects creates balance for a resilient and healthy ecosystem – something we look for in our certification process. Predator insects (like ladybugs, hoverflies, and dragonflies) keep pests in check, feasting on harmful bugs that can wreak havoc on crops. Pests become a big problem when beneficial insects are decimated by pesticides, leading to decreased yields and crop damage. Regenerative farmers work with nature, not against it. Regenerative farms are full of life – above ground and below. Which bugs are you seeing on your farm this spring? 📸: Axten Family Farm
