Reel Works mentors, inspires, and empowers underserved NYC youth to share their stories through filmmaking, creating a springboard to successful careers in media and beyond. Founded in 2001, Reel Works engages youth,
ages 12 to 24, in the art, craft and business of filmmaking. Their programming ranges from after school programs, multi-year paid internship opportunities for young adults, workforce development workshops and networking opportunities, etc. Reel Works students earn industry-recognized digital credentials that align with nationwide workforce standards to show employers skills gained.
