🎨✨Professional Insight Series with Alexis Tyla Roberts and Zemia Edmondson✨🎨 As the start of a new series, we are thrilled to highlight the incredible work of our Teaching Artists, Alexis Tyla Roberts and Zemia Edmondson, at Brooklyn Collaborative Studies! As teaching Artists, Alexis and Zemia taught stop-motion animation courses to students, expanding their imaginations. We got quotes from both of them to dive deeper into their professional insight. “What was most remarkable about teaching stop-motion animation was witnessing how students unlocked their creative potential and found their voice.” - Zemia Edmondson. “It has been an incredible experience teaching at BCS and working with the students to create stop-motion animation projects that pushed their imaginations, showcased their perspectives, and highlighted their skills. My favorite part of the experience was getting to know the students and seeing how their unique interests informed their animations.” - Alexis Tyla Roberts.
