We couldn't be more proud of these two amazing young community members. Excited to see what the future holds. 👏
Youth engagement is critical for a safe and health community.I was honored to present proclemations to two of the youth members of my Community Equity Advisory Team (CEAT) @Brooke Sorensen and Delaney Flanigen. These two young ladies provides the youth voice and perspective to public safety issues facing the city. They provided perspective on policy revisions such as Pursuits, Drone as First Responder (DFR). As they head off to begin their collegient careers at University of Washington and UC Santa Barbara, we wish them much success! #YouthEngagement #CommunityEngagement #YouthMatter #YouthPerspective #giveYouthaVoice #RelationalPolicing
