We are pleased to welcome Johnny Surprise as our Referral Relations Specialist for Minnesota. Learn more about Johnny below: Bringing energy, creativity, natural leadership, and problem solving to every challenge, Johnny Surprise is a specialty consultant that lives up to his birth name. His ability to conceive and execute successful marketing campaigns, expand strategic initiatives and build, or in many cases, rebuild partnerships has made significant impact on his clients. Johnny has worked with multiple addiction treatment centers over the years as a placement consultant and outreach director. Most of these programs, however, did not have specialized programs for the First Responder/Military Veteran community. Johnny saw a need to better serve this community and help those looking for guidance. Over the past 7 years he has focused on building his relationships with police and fire departments, frontline workers, addiction specialist and treatment centers in the state of Minnesota and nationally. Johnny has worked closely with the Minneapolis Police Department wellness team and the Minneapolis Fire Department. He served as a high-level trusted consultant leading the vetting and finding of proper therapists, treatment centers, workshops and other trusted medical professionals for the police department during a series of turbulent years in Minneapolis. His combined endurance athletic pursuits (12 Ironman triathlon finishes and 17 marathons) helps demonstrate the stamina he has in supporting those combating ongoing addiction and the mental health epidemic for first responders. With his previous work experience in entertainment and athletics, Johnny brings energy and passion to serving the first responder community both locally and nationally. #recoveryways #firstresponders #mentalhealth #substanceusedisorder
