Reckon Branding is the full-service branding agency run by creatives. Reckon was founded in 2000 with the goal of creating an agency where creatives and brands could grow together. We built an environment where clients and designers engage directly, from beginning to end, without a middle-person. We believe this approach provides better creative solutions and partnerships. A brand is more than a logo, it’s a living entity that requires continuous nurturing, grooming and management. Our goal isn’t to build a brand and hand it off; we design brands that are optimized for action and we activate those brands over years and decades.

On June 19, 1865, news of the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached Galveston, Texas, marking the end of slavery in the United States. This historic day, now known as Juneteenth, is a celebration of freedom and a reminder of the ongoing journey toward equality. In honor of this significant moment in history, our office will be closed June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

APHL - Association of Public Health Laboratories recently launched a new platform that provides a more efficient route for sharing electronic test orders and results. (ETOR). We partnered with them to craft the brand "Detor," a clever play on the word "detour," where we leveraged the ETOR acronym while alluding to the seamless transfer and translation of data between entities. The logo design features abstract data flowing in the shape of a lowercase 'd', and we retained the APHL color palette to provide a visual relationship between the two brands.
